Opening of Kyiv Peace Museum
Kyiv Peace Museum was opened in Kyiv on September 21, 2021, on the International Day of Peace, at Vasyl Yan Library. For now it is established on a voluntary basis.
At the exhibition were presented materials about the activities of the UN, OSCE and peacekeeping missions of the Ukrainian military in various conflicts around the world. Veterans peacekeepers shared their memories.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Peacekeeping Center and Vasyl Yan Library.
The opening of the Museum was attended by the Consul of Guinea in Ukraine, the President of the African Council in Ukraine Diallo Issa Sadio; member of the African Council in Ukraine, Dr. Johnson Aniki (Nigeria); UN representatives: political analysts Andriy Kobzarenko and Stan Weitsman; Zoya Sokolova, former Vice-Consul of Ukraine in Guinea; Volodymyr Yurchenko, the assistant of deputy Olena Ovramenko.
